A drug dealer caught with a £10k stash in his Grangetown home has been sent to prison.
Adam Pritchard, 32, pleaded guilty to several charges including being concerned in the supply of cocaine, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin.
He was sentenced to eight years and six months in prison on April 3 at Cardiff Crown Court.
Pritchard had been running a Class-A drugs line in Grangetown until he was arrested at his Cambridge Street home on February 22, 2025.
Officers searched the property and found:
49 grams of heroin
50.44 grams of crack cocaine
Drug paraphernalia including digital scales and grip seal bags
More than £4k cash
Pepper Spray
And a converted blank firing pistol
In a statement on their website, South Wales Police said they have a “zero-tolerance approach to drug dealing and this is just one examples of the work we are doing”.
They continued: “We will not tolerate drugs in our communities, and we are constantly targeting those are thought to be involved in the supply of controlled drugs.
“We can, and regularly do, act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming and continue to work with us.”
