Plans include cast-iron plaques showcasing local landmarks and history
Feedback welcomed on the council’s development website
Cardiff residents are being called to give their opinions on proposed artworks in two areas of the city.
Cardiff Council is planning some improvements to the areas under Taff Embankment and Clare Road bridges.
Under the scheme, the local authority is also proposing the installation of cast-iron floor plaques.
The artworks will be created along with local makers and will feature “historic and modern landmarks, features and events from the surrounding areas in the form of cast-iron floor plaques.”
Proposed subjects include the Principality Stadium and the former Grangetown Gas Works.
Residents can have their say on the council’s development and regeneration website.
