A crack cocaine and heroin drug dealer has been sent to prison after he was arrested in Roath last year.

Amara Harris, 22, was jailed at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on January 27 after pleading guilty to supplying class A drugs.

He also pleaded guilty to driving without a license and insurance.

Harris, who has been sentenced to 41 months in prison, was arrested by South Wales Police at a house in Bedford Street, Roath on July 16.

He was found with the phone linked to the drug line, scales and thousands of pounds in cash.

Harris was one of 25 people arrested in July 2024 in part of a wider crack down by the Cardiff and Vale Organised Crime Team.

During this time, a quarter of a kilogram of crack cocaine and £17,000 in cash was seized. Twenty-one drugs lines were also put out of business.
